ICE it!!! I was at home when I heard a very loud noise.
At my neighbour’s door there was a voice. I looked out of the window,
And saw an ICE agent bellow
Knocking down my neighbour’s door. So I could not hear what was said,
Because my windows were closed,
I understood the threat they posed. Against his will out of the house
My neighbour was being pulled.
And I did not understand why
They were being so cruel. My neighbour was a very caring man,
A pillar of the community.
His actions never sowed disunity.
Even animals were part of his clan. I remember it well.
Once he saved a puppy
From being beaten into a swell
By a bunch of white yuppies.
Although my neighbour’s skin is dark,
I wonder does he deserve
The ICE agents’ bark? I wonder furthermore,
Are ICE agents rotten to the core?
Are they good or bad? This all makes me sad.
